Ukraine to pay Turkmenistan's gas by pipes

Yuriy Yekhanurov, Ukrainian Prime Minister, said on Monday that the country is considering the possibility to repay Turkmenistan its $63 million debt for natural gas Ukraine consumed during 2003-2005 with steel pipes. The Prime Minister said that the Cabinet would send a delegation to Turkmenistan to discuss the issue within ten days. He also stated that it is planned to ship to Turkmenistan pipes worth of $58 million by August.
