Ukraine's Anti-monopoly Committee (AMCU) has initiated a special investigation into the recent iron ore price rise in the domestic market based on a filed complaint received from Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich). According to Ilyich, the recent price rise, produced by the Ukrainian iron ore enterprises, was unreasonable. However, the company has added that it had filed the complaint in order to investigate the current price situation in the Ukrainian iron ore market, not against any particular iron ore supplier.
