Turkish exports maintain momentum in March

The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) said that Turkey's exports rose 25.3% year on year to $6.64 billion in March 2005. Exports totaled $17.4 billion in the first quarter of 2005, up 26.2% year on year. 12-month exports also rose 31.6% year on year to $67.6 billion. Ready-to-wear exports among the industrial products rose 12.1% year on year to $1.3 billion last month. Exports of motor vehicles and subsidiary industries amounted to $1.26 billion, up 47.9% year on year.
