Turkey’s wire rod exports up 29.5 percent in January-October

According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in October this year Turkey's wire rod exports increased by 35.2 percent year on year to 115,664 metric tons, up 59 percent compared to the previous month. The revenue from these exports amounted to $64.2 million, up 70.3 percent month on month and up 94 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.

In the first ten months, Turkey's wire rod exports increased by 29.5 percent to 1.07 million mt, while the revenue from these exports increased by 52 percent to $495.6 million, both year on year.
 
In the first ten months of the current year, Turkey's largest wire rod export destination was Israel which received 218,579 metric tons. Israel was followed by the US with 103,180 metric tons and Singapore with 79,411 metric tons.
