Turkey’s steel pipe exports up 2.85 percent in Oct over Sept

According to the data provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), in October this year Turkey's total steel pipe exports amounted to 154,140 metric tons, falling by 4.78 percent year on year and up 2.85 percent compared to September this year. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $158.2 million, up by 6.7 percent compared to October 2010 and by 2.1 percent month on month.

On the other hand, in the first 10 months of this year Turkey's steel pipe exports stood at 1.4 million metric tons, down 0.24 percent year on year, while the total revenue of these exports amounted to $1.5 billion, increasing by 12.4 percent as compared to January-October 2010.
