Turkey’s Kardemir wins Iraq railway tender

Turkish integrated long steel producer Kardemir has announced that it has won the 30,000 mt international railway tender opened by Iraq State Railways. French, Italian, German and Spanish companies also participated in the tender held in Iraq. Giving the best bid, Kardemir stated that they are in the process of signing a contract with Iraq State Railways.
 
Kardemir's rail and beam rolling mill has an annual rail production capacity of 450,000 mt.
