Turkey’s HRC imports decrease by 23.2 percent in January-February

In February this year, Turkey's hot rolled coil (HRC) imports amounted to 344,314 metric tons, up 7.8 percent compared to January and decreasing by 23.5 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue of these imports totaled $215.02 million, increasing by 7.5 percent compared to January and down 44.2 percent year on year.  

Meanwhile, in the January-February period this year, Turkey's HRC imports amounted to 663,607 metric tons, down 23.2 percent compared to the January-February period of last year, while the revenue of these imports totaled $415.06 million, decreasing by 44.8 percent year on year.
