Turkey’s Erdemir merges steel service center and logistics company

Turkey-based steelmaker Erdemir has announced that it has merged its steel service center subsidiary ERSEM and its logistics subsidiary ERLO. The transaction was completed on February 13.
 
Erdemir stated that the merger will not affect its consolidated financial statements and operations.
 
Erdemir's steel service center founded in 2001 in Gebze offers cold rolled and galvanized products, while ERLO was established to coordinate the logistics needs of Erdemir group single-handedly.
