In November last year, Turkey's cold rolled coil (CRC) imports decreased by 26.8 percent month on month to 43,820 mt, down 43.9 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The value of these imports was $31.88 million, falling by 19 percent compared to October and down 35.8 percent year on year.
In the first 11 months of last year, Turkey's CRC imports amounted to 740,250 mt, down 12.6 percent, while the value of these imports increased by 1.6 percent to $495.7 million, both year on year.
In the given period, Russia ranked first among Turkey's CRC import sources, supplying 359,423 mt, down 2.47 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given period, Turkey's CRC imports from China totaled 96,715 mt.
