Turkey's basic metal output up 0.7 percent in September from August

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in September this year Turkey's season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial production increased by 1.7 percent compared to August, while the calendar adjusted index was up 2.2 percent compared to September 2013.
 
In September, the index for the production of basic metals in Turkey increased by 0.7 percent month on month and increased by 2.5 percent compared to September 2013.
 
The index for the production of fabricated metal products in September increased by 0.3 percent month on month but was down by 3.5 year on year.
