Turkey looks for rebar AD case solutions by Egypt

The current situation is about Turkey in talks with Egyptian authorities on possibilities how they can adopt their anti-dumping decision to comply with the WTO requirements. In 1999 Egypt imposed definitive duty rates on Turkish rebar that range from 22-66%. Turkey waits for Egyptian authorities to take action to comply with the WTO rules. WTO' s Dispute Settlement Body decided earlier in October that Egypt violated two international trade articles at the time of determination of anti-dumping duty rates on Turkish rebar imports in 1999. The Turkish companies involved in the case are Icdas and IDC.
