Tombador Iron Ltd announced that it has closed a deal with the Brazilian arm of Aperam, for the supply of iron ore starting during the first quarter of 2024.

Tombador Iron Ltd is an Australian public company that owns the Tombador iron ore project in Bahia state, in the northeastern region of Brazil.

According to Tombador, the supply volume will be flexible, until reaching 165,000 mt per month. The price of the ore will be based on the reference of ore with 62 percent iron contents, CFR China, including a discount based on the volume supplied.

Earlier in this year, the company has entered in a similar contract with the Brazilian flat steel producer Usiminas.
