Timken Latrobe to increase specialty steel prices

According to the statement released by Timken Company, its subsidiary Timken Latrobe will increase prices of all remelted aerospace alloys and air melt stainless steel grades by 5-15%. The price increase will be effective with all new orders as of January 17, 2005. No change in the current raw material surcharges has been announced. The prices are stated to have been increased due to rising operational costs.
