Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Three Gorges Quantong Coated and Galvanized Plate Co. has announced that it has signed supply contracts with both large steel producers and domestic household appliance giants such as Haier and Media, with the total contract tonnage amounting to 3.8 million mt of color coated plate.
Three Gorges Quantong operates the world's largest color coated steel plate base, with 72 production lines. In 2011, the total output of the company is expected to reach 3.8 million mt, while its sales revenue is expected to amount to RMB 19 billion ($2.99 billion).
