Texas-based Friedman Industries releases increased net earnings in Q2

Friedman Industries Incorporated, a Houston, Texas-based company engaged in pipe manufacturing, steel coil processing and steel and pipe distribution, announced Monday its results of operations for Q2.

For the quarter ended September 30, 2010, the company recorded net earnings of $1,784,431 on sales of $29,353,262. During the comparable quarter last year, the company recorded a net loss of $206,247 on sales of $16,086,330.
