Tangshan Steel posts record finished steel export volume for May

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that in the May of the current year it exported 270,000 mt of finished steel, including, among other products, 110,300 mt of cold rolled steel products, 95,800 mt of hot rolled steel products and 4,600 mt of steel plate.

Tangshan Steel's finished steel exports in February this year reached 223,700 mt, while it recorded an average monthly finished steel export volume of 230,000 mt for March and April. The figure of 270,000 mt for May constitutes a record monthly finished steel export volume for the company.
