On September 21, Hebei Province-based Tangshan Hengtong Group announced upward adjustments to its ex-factory prices for color coated coils and HDG. The details are as follows:
The new HDG price has increased by RMB 100-260/mt ($13-35/mt) compared with last month. As a result, the price of 0.5 mm thick HDG has risen to RMB 5,770/mt ($769/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is up to RMB 5,200/mt ($693/mt).
The new price of color coated coils has risen by RMB 200/mt ($27/mt) compared with the previous month. After adjustment, the price of 0.4 mm thick color coated coils is RMB 6,550/mt ($873/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of October 1, 2007.
