Taiyuan Iron and Steel’s sales revenue up 10.11 percent in H1

In the January-June period of the current year, the sales revenue of Shanxi-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group (TISCO) reached RMB 62.5 billion ($9.6 billion), up 10.11 percent year on year. The steelmaker's stainless steel output in the given period totaled 1,460,000 mt, with TISCO thus maintaining first place in terms of stainless output in the worldwide steel industry.
 
In the same period last year, TISCO's stainless steel output had totaled 1.41 million mt, up 20.6 percent year on year, while its sales revenues had reached RMB 56.8 million, increasing by 41.8 percent year on year.
