Taiwan's basic metal export orders down five percent in Jan-Nov

In November this year, Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.39 billion, down 0.5 percent compared to the previous month and decreasing by 3.4 percent compared to November 2012, according to Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs. The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders were up 0.3 percent and down 5.1 percent in October and September respectively, both on year-on-year basis.
 
The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in the first 11 months of the current year amounted to a value of $24.91 billion, falling by five percent compared to the same period of 2012.
