Taiwan imports 3.9 million mts of scrap in Jan-Sept

According to Taiwanese sources, the country imported 3.9 million metric tons of scrap in the first nine months of 2007, up 13.6 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In September alone, Taiwan imported 523,000 metric tons of scrap.
