Steelmakers in Jiangxi see gross loss of RMB 235 million in Jan-May

China's National Bureau of Statistics has announced that in the January-May period of the current year steelmaking enterprises in the Chinese province of Jiangxi incurred an aggregate gross loss of RMB 235 million ($37.24 million), down by 123.87 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the first five months steel enterprises in Jiangxi achieved an aggregate business revenue of RMB 37.601 billion ($5.96 billion), down 9.26 percent year on year.
