Spain-based global plantmaker Fagor Arrasate has announced that it has received two separate orders from Turkey - from the largest Turkish integrated steelmaker Erdemir and from Bursa-based steel service center Bamesa Celik Servis Sanayi Ve Ticaret.

The plantmaker will supply Erdemir with a slitting line capable of processing steel coils of 1,525 mm in width and 10 mm in thickness. The new line will be able to reach a maximum cutting speed of 200 meters per minute.

The second order comes from Bamesa Celik Servis Sanayi ve Ticaret, a part of the international steel service center organization Bamesa, and includes the design, manufacturing and supply of a new cut-to-length line. This new line will be able to process high strength steel of 1,650 mm in width and in a thicknesses range of 0.5-8 mm. The line will be able to reach a maximum cutting speed of 90 meters per minute.
