German plantmaker SMS Meer has announced that it will supply a new stainless steel rolling mill for Fujian Province-based Chinese steelmaker FuJian WuHang Stainless Steel.
The new stainless rolling mill will produce wire rod and bar in coils ranging from 5 mm to 20 mm in diameter with an annual capacity of 300,000 mt. FuJian WuHang will be able to manufacture high-quality products very cost-effectively and with maximum flexibility.
The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2013.
