The Russian mining firm Siberian Mining Metallurgical Company (Siberian GMK) has inaugurated its new hot briquette iron (HBI) workshop in Temirtau, located in the Kemerovo region in the southern part of western Siberia.

The new workshop, which has an annual production capacity of 180,000 metric tons, was constructed in just a seven-month period instead of the planned one and a half years.

The main equipment for the workshop was supplied by Spain-based company Psensoland.
