On January 5, 2008, Shougang Group successfully carried out trial production at its new cold rolled sheet steel production line located in the Shunyi district of Bejing, which was built with a total investment of RMB 6.4 billion.
The new cold rolled sheet line has a designed capacity of 1.5 million metric tons per annum, including 700,000 metric tons of CR and 800,000 metric tons of HDG. Production from the line is mainly intended for high-grade auto plate, high-grade household appliance plate and building plate.
