Shougang Changzhi Steel develops high-end grades of rebar

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Changzhi Steel has announced that it has developed production of MG335, MG400 and MG500 grades of rebar, mainly used for support and safety purposes in coal mining.
 
The steelmaker said this represents a further step forward in its development of high-strength reinforcing bar. The rebar grades in question also have anti-seismic qualities.
