Shougang laid foundation for new plant
China's Beijing based Shougang Group laid foundation for its new cold rolled sheet production plant with 1.5 million tons per annum capacity. The new plant will cost RMB 6.4 billion ($773.3 million). The new plant will also be environment-friendly and it is also approved by the State Council in this regard. The company will also move all of its air-polluting plants out of Beijing by 2010, to Caofeidian island in Hebei province.Shougang laid foundation for new plant
