Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of Shougang Group, has said that in October this year it produced 708,200 mt of hot rolled steel strip, 5,500 mt more than the output target for the month.
In October, Shougang Jingtang Iron and Steel’s total sales of hot rolled steel strip amounted to 372,700 mt, including 32,700 mt for export.
Meanwhile, the company’s output of hot rolled sheet of thickness below 3.5 mm in the given month totaled 240,700 mt, exceeding the production target by 56,900 mt.
