Shougang Jingtang develops new steel products

Caofeidian, Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co (Shougang Jingtang) has announced that, to expand its position in the market and to improve its profits, the company is continuing to push forward the development and trial production of steel products, while also focusing on certification of its steel sheets for application in the household appliance and automotive sectors.
 
In August, Shougang Jingtang developed and trial-produced 34 products, including SS400 B and 30A steel grades. In addition, Shougang Jingtang also completed certification work for steel sheets used in automobiles and household appliances, to be supplied to companies such as Great Wall Motors, Dofeng Motor Co. and Haier Group
