Shougang Cold Rolling produces 392,000 mt of auto sheet in Jan-Sept

Chinese steelmaker Shougang Cold Rolled Sheet Steel Co., a subsidiary of Beijing-based Chinese steel giant Shougang Steel Corporation, has reported that in the January-September period of this year its automotive sheet output reached 392,000 mt, up 323,100 mt compared to the same period of 2009. The steel sheet producer is targeting an annual output of 500,000 mt of automotive steel sheet in 2010, with a possible maximum of 550,000 mt.

Shougang Cold Rolled Sheet Steel Co. has previously indicated that it will focus its automotive steel sheet production on the medium and high-end markets next year.
