Shaogang posts record iron ore sinter output in 2011

Guangdong Province-based Chinese steel producer Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co. (Shaogang), a subsidiary of Shanghai-based steel giant Baosteel, produced a record iron ore sinter output of 8.242 million mt in 2011, up 755,000 mt year on year, as reported by Baosteel.

Shaogang's structural steel is approved by nine classification societies.
