Shanxi Jinnan Iron and Steel Group established via restructuring

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shanxi Jinnan Iron and Steel Group was established on November 19, from the restructuring of Shanxi Liheng Iron and Steel Group and Shanxi Xingyuan Group, as reported by local media.

In addition, Shanxi Jinnan Iron and Steel Group plans to invest RMB 6.0 billion ($0.9 billion) in constructing two 1,860 cubic meter blast furnaces, two 150 mt converters and two sintering facilities.
