Shanxi Antai returns to profit in 2018

Shanxi Province-based Shanxi Antai Group Co., Ltd, a Chinese company mainly engaged in production of coke and its by-products, steel sections and slag powder, has announced that in 2018 it registered an operating revenue of RMB 8.815 billion ($1.31 billion), up 39.57 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 820 million ($122.2 million), shifting from a net loss of RMB 282 million in the previous year.

The company stated that good demand for coke in 2018 due to environmental protection measures in the given year contributed a lot to its improved performance.
