Shandong Steel’s Laiwu Special Steel sees $27.95 million net profit in H1

In the first six months of the current year, Chinese steelmaker Shandong Iron & Steel Group Co.’s Laiwu Special Steel Division achieved sales revenues of RMB 4.153 billion ($0.645 billion) and net profits of RMB 180 million ($27.95 million). Laiwu Special Steel expanded its profit margin in H1 by controlling costs and optimizing its product structure. It also focused its production operations in the period on meeting market demand and customers’ requirements.
