Shandong Province to keep coal use increase below 82 million mt in 2011-15

According to the government of China's Shandong Province, during the country's 12th five-year plan period (2011-15) the overall increase in coal consumption in the province as compared to the 11th five-year plan period (2006-10) will be kept under 82 million mt.
 
In addition, by 2015 the Shandong authorities are aiming to reduce standard coal consumption per gross domestic product (GDP) unit to 0.85 mt, down 17 percent compared to 2010 and down 35 percent compared to 2005.
