In the week from February 24 to March 2, on the Orbis Steel Index the
scrap indexes switched to sideways movement, while the Turkish
rebar index started to increase after four weeks of downward movement. The Turkish flat rolled product indexes have not shown any changes compared to the previous week.
As per the Orbis Steel Index data, the index movements in the week from February 24 to March 2 as per product are as follows:
Turkish Scrap Index switched to sideways movement, with the index value staying at 154.11.
US (East Coast) HMS I/II Scrap Export Index has not shown any changes compared to the previous week, with the index value remaining at 148.94.
Turkish Rebar Index started to move upwards, with the index value rising 0.57 percent week on week to 149.79.
Turkish HRC Index maintained sideways movement. The index value remained at 96.75.
Black Sea HRC Export Index declined by 0.69 percent week on week to 102.13.
Turkish HDG Index continued to move sideways in the week in question, with the index value remaining at 99.68.
Turkish CRC Index moved sideways, with the index value staying at 95.89.
