Scrap loadings halted at Algerian ports, new policy awaited

SteelOrbis has heard that scrap loadings at Algerian ports have stopped. An official announcement is awaited for the clarification of the new policy on scrap exports. Algerian Customs General Manager Mohamed Abdou Bouderbala informed the press that the publication of the decree is imminent. It is reported that scrap loadings at Algerian ports have stopped and that traders have now resigned themselves to wait with hands tied for the official announcement of the new regulation.
