Sandvik increases number of shares and votes through share issue

Swedish high-technology engineering and steelmaking group Sandvik has announced that the number of shares and votes in the company has increased by 66,889,974, following the share issue implemented as consideration for Sandvik's acquisition of shares in Seco Tools, one of the world's largest manufacturers of innovative metal-cutting tools.

As of January 31, the total number of shares and votes in Sandvik amounts to 1,253,177,149, while the company's share capital amounts to SEK 1.5 billion.
