Russian semi-finished steel exports up 23.9 percent in January-August

In August of the current year, Russia exported 1.22 million mt of semi-finished steel products, up 23.7 percent compared to August 2011 and increasing by nine percent compared to July this year, according to the country's customs statistics.
 
In the January-August period of the current year, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products increased by 23.9 percent year on year to 10.1 million mt.
