Russian iron ore concentrate output up 1.2 percent in Jan-Oct

According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat), in the January-October period of this year Russia produced 87.1 million mt of iron ore concentrate and 32.5 million mt of iron ore pellets, up 1.2 percent and 2.2 percent respectively compared to the same period last year.
 
In addition, in October alone Russia produced 8.7 million mt of iron ore concentrate and 3.2 million mt of iron ore pellets, down 1.5 percent and 3.2 percent respectively compared to September this year.
