Russian Duma recommends moratorium on Ukrainian metal

The Ecological Committee of Russian State Duma took a decision to recommend to the government of Russia to impose moratorium on imports of steel products from Ukraine. During the meeting of the committee, held yesterday, the Ecological Committee of Russian State Duma adopted a resolution which states that ’until the possible measures to provide radioactive safety of Russia in connection with imports of scrap and finished steel products from Ukraine are taken, the committee is strongly recommending to the government of Russian Federation to impose moratorium on imports of all Ukrainian steel products, on the territory of Russian Federation'. The resolution was sent to the government of Russia for examination.
