Russia sees decline in coal exports in January-August

According to the data for the first eight months of the current year, Russia's coal exports decreased by 11.9 percent year on year to 68.008 million mt, worth a total of $6.665 billion. In the given period, Russia exported 1.149 million mt of metallurgical coke and semi-coke, down 36 percent compared to the same period of last year, worth $342.1 million.
