Russia issues January-February production results

In the first two months of the current year, Russia registered a 5.5 percent rise in its crude steel output to 11.7 million mt, 3.4 percent growth in pig iron production to 8.6 million mt, and a 6.8 percent increase in its rolled steel output to 10.2 million mt, all year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat).

In the given period, Russia saw an 18.3 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe production to 1.8 million mt.
