Russia issues January-April production results

According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat), in the first four months of the current year Russia registered a stable level of rolled steel product output at 19.7 million mt, a 0.4 percent decrease in its crude steel output to 22.9 million mt and a 0.6 percent increase in its pig iron production to 16.7 million mt, all year on year. In the given period, Russia saw a 0.4 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe production to 3.2 million mt.
