On October 14, a group of six representatives from Rio Tinto Mining Group's iron ore office in China paid a visit to Central China's Hebei Province-based Jingye Group to investigate the operations and raw material supply situation of the latter company, and to negotiate cooperation between the two sides.

The strategic cooperation between the two companies, which was agreed on during the talks, is expected to secure a reliable and stable supply of high-quality and low-priced iron ore, thus laying a solid foundation for Jinye Group to become an international steel enterprise.
