On January 19, North America's largest producer of special bar quality (SBQ) steel, Republic Engineered Products Inc. (Republic), announced the relocation of its cold finished bar products headquarters to its manufacturing facility in Massillon, Ohio.

The Massillon location is the largest of three Republic plants that manufacture cold finished bar. The other facilities are located in Gary, Indiana, and Hamilton, Ontario.

"Republic Cold Finished Division customers will receive even better service and will benefit from greater efficiencies now that our sales and manufacturing groups will be more closely aligned," said Michael Eberth, general manager of Republic's Cold Finished Division.
