In the January-May period of the current year, Azerbaijan registered a 20.5 percent year-on-year rise in its metallurgical production to 163.7 million mt, according to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
In the given period, Azerbaijan saw a 46.3 percent rise year on year in its steel pipe production to 37,900 mt.
In addition, in January-May this year Azerbaijan produced 108,300 mt of rebar, up 31.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
