Rautaruukki to supply structures for Swedish bridge

Finnish steelmaker Rautaruukki has announced the receipt of an order worth about €9 million for the supply and installation of 2,200 mt of superstructures for the Partihallsförbindelsen bridge in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The new bridge is part of the Swedish Road Administration's Partihallsförbindelsen road project. Designed by Ramböll Sverige AB, the 1.2 km long bridge is being built with Skanska Sverige AB as the main contractor.

Delivery and installation are scheduled for 2009-2010.
