Proven coal reserves in Xinjiang increase

The early exploration works at the Sha Erhu coal mine, located in Shanshan County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, have recently been completed. It has revealed proven coal reserves of 89.2 billion mt at Sha Erhu coal mine.

Meanwhile, the whole field work of the exploration of San Tanghu coal mine, located in Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, is to be completed in early January 2012. Currently, the proven coal reserves at San Tanghu coal mine has reached 55 billion mt.
