Primetals Technologies to modernize EAF for Thailand-based N.T.S.

UK-based plantmaker Primetals Technologies has announced that it will modernize the electric arc furnace of Thailand-based N.T.S Steel Group Public Co. Ltd to increase the productivity of the furnace.

The project, which is expected to be commissioned in December this year, aims to reduce the electricity and electrode consumption of the electric arc furnace.  
 
N.T.S., a subsidiary of Tata Steel (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd, specializes in the production of steel rod and wire for the construction industry.
